I am Shameeka Baptist. I am the Author and Inspirational Speaker behind THE STRENGTH WITHIN. I am a young woman that grew up in the foster care system who defied the odds that were against me. I’d like to share my journey of resilience with others. I pray it provides others COURAGE and STRENGTH to keep FIGHTING and to PERSEVERE! For THE STRENGTH WITHIN is what will carry you through! YOUR PAST DOES NOT DEFINE YOUR PRESENT OR YOUR FUTURE! WHERE YOU ARE, IS NOT WHERE YOU ARE MEANT TO GO OR WHO YOU ARE MEANT TO BE! God has a purpose for you!
